Ingredients
Enriched
Bleached Wheat Flour (niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin,
folic acid), Water, Corn Starch, Dextrose, Maltodextrin, Vital Wheat
Gluten, Salt, Canola Oil, Preservatives (Calcium and/or Sodium
Propionate, and Potassium Sorbate), Citric Acid.
Directions
Keep
frozen. Approx. 40 (9″ x 14″) fillo sheets; 20 per 8 oz roll. To Thaw
Athens Fillo Remove fillo roll(s) from box, wrapped, and thaw at room
temperature about 2 hours. (If using one roll only, immediately return
unused fillo roll to freezer.) For ready-to-use fillo, thaw overnight in
refrigerator. Store in refrigerator up to 4 weeks. Remove thawed fillo
from refrigerator when you begin to prepare other ingredients. To Use
Athens Fillo Do not open fillo until all other ingredients are assembled
and you are ready to work. Microwave butter until melted. Carefully
unroll fillo sheets onto a smooth, dry surface. Immediately cover fillo
with plastic wrap, then a damp towel. Uncover to remove fillo sheets as
needed. Promptly recover. Working from edges towards the center, lightly
brush each layer of fillo with melted butter, margarine or oil, or
spray with a thin coating of vegetable oil. Brush the last layer of
fillo with melted butter. To store unused Athens Fillo Promptly reroll
unused fillo sheets in plastic wrap. Refrigerate opened fillo up to 1
week, or refreeze up to 2 months.
