Terrapin
Beer Company was founded in 2002 by John Cochran and Spike Buckowski,
who met while working for a microbrewery in Atlanta, Georgia. That year,
their craft beer Rye Pale Ale made it to Denver for the Great American
Beer Festival, where John and Spike took home a Gold Medal in the
American Pale Ale Category. In 2007, Terrapin moved into its current
location on Newton Bridge Road in Athens, Georgia, and set out to share
its unique beers with its hometown and the rest of the Southeast. In
2009, the IPA beer Hopsecutioner was introduced, and the growing
popularity of the American IPA style helped elevate it to Terrapin’s
most popular brand. Today, the company and its employees continue to
live by Terrapin’s mission statement: to create unique experiences
through the passionate brewing of the finest quality craft beers. This
Killer double IPA earns its title by being brewed with six different
hops to create an aggressive yet exceptionally well-balanced beer. Look
for notes of pine and grapefruit balanced by caramelized malt. With a
balanced hop and sweetness profile, it’s the perfect beer for cookouts,
barbeques, parties, or tailgates. This 12 pack is perfect for sharing
with friends, whether your at the beach, a bonfire, or a pool party.
